The Microtech Gefell TM 190.2 cardioid condenser desktop microphone has a balanced frequency response ensure a neutral sound and is designed for applications such as commentary, translators, and TV/Radio. This microphone featuress a classic 48V phantom powered condenser microphone design, which ensures a high degree of speech intelligibility even in unfavorable acoustic conditions and its unobtrusive appearance also makes the TM 190.2 ideal for use on conference tables.
The TM 190.2 consists of the TMK 190 K desktop microphone capsule, the MF 90 desktop microphone base seat and the BMV 190 desktop microphone preamplifier. Use of a special capsule with a cardioid characteristic achieves excellent suppression of undesired acoustic sound levels in the vicinity of the microphone. The MF 90 metal base seat provides a good slide-resistant base, and the microphone holder provides comprehensive angular adjustment of the microphone. The TM 190.2 also features a low output impedance which allows for long XLR cable runs when needed.
