In many live situations, audio bleed is a big problem. That’s why a supercardioid polar pattern was chosen for the OD505. This optimally fades out unwanted interference and focuses on the voice. Spill from ie. drums or other loud instruments in the immediate vicinity is reduced to a minimum.
Austrian Audio’s Open Acoustic sound remains present over the radio transmission.
