The BlackMagic Design Studio HD Camera comes with a large 10” LCD screen that has a detachable sunshade and an active Micro Four Thirds lens mount. With these features, this camera is compatible with a wide variety of lenses.

The BlackMagic Design Studio HD Camera is capable of offering 1080i and 1080p resolutions. It is also capable of the following frame rates: 23.98, 24, 25, 30, 50, 59.94 and 60. The BlackMagic Design Studio HD Camera can output 10-bit 4:2:2 video through its 3G-SDI or optical fiber outputs.

When it comes to power, the camera comes with a built-in battery that can last up to 4 hours with just a single charge. Not only that, the BlackMagic Design Studio HD Camera provides a standard 4-pin XLR power input for external power sources. The internal battery of this camera also provides the ability to hot-swap external batteries without having to turn off the power or interrupt recording for that matter.

You can also make easy adjustments without taking your eyes off what you’re shooting thanks to the camera control buttons being placed right below the viewfinder.
