Heritage Audio 609A Elite - '609A Stero/Dual Mono Compressor Limiter

The Heritage Audio 609A Elite is a modern adaptation on the classic transformer coupled diode bridge compressor/limiter. The 609A features a fully discrete, class A design with a total of three Carnhill/St Ives transformers per channel. One of the adaptations made to the design is the inclusion of a fast attack mode for both the compressor and limiter meaning the HA-609A has the flexibility to handle individual tracks, groups and 2-Bus program material. The unit uses switches and rotary knobs of high quality that are stepped, allowing for easy recall and maintaining of the stereo image.
