The Studiocare Service Department caters for a wide variety of the professional audio market’s repair needs. We service and repair most high end audio equipment including microphones outboard, loudspeakers, DJ equipment, audio interfaces, mixing consoles, recorders and more.

Our service engineers are vastly experienced and we have a detailed library of service manuals and circuit diagrams from most major professional audio manufacturers covering many classic and contemporary unit.

With a large stock of often difficult to obtain spare parts and components and access to all major manufacturers’ spares stocks, Studiocare is able to turn most jobs around within a short time scale.

We carry an extensive range of off-the-roll Klotz cable, and high quality Neutrik connectors enabling us to create virtually any cabling requirements outlined by our clients. We also carry a range of pre-made and our own ready-made cables in the most common configurations and lengths available for your convenience.

Service & Repairs

Items for assessment and repair are subject to an inspection charge of £90 +VAT, which will be waived from any repair charge.

Our repair charge is currently £90 + VAT per hour, with the majority of repairs being carried out between 30 minutes and two hours. For more complicated jobs, the customer will of course be advised of an estimated turnaround before any work is undertaken.

If you require an estimate before regular repairs are carried out, please advise us at the time. Repairs totalling less than £150 ex. VAT will be automatically carried out unless otherwise requested. All of our repairs carry a 3 month warranty covering the original fault and any related issue. This does however exclude speaker driver units.

Technical Support

Our dedicated technical support department is one of Studiocare’s unique selling points. With years worth of industry experience, and a logical approach to problem solving, we give you an uncompromised service, liaising with our Sales Team from initial consultation to commissioning and training.

With our extensive manufacturer support network we keep on top of all software/hardware issues and compatibility to make sure your system specification runs smoothly and flawlessly.

Technical Support offer an FTP service to our customers where we publish manufacturers’ major software releases. We will advise you on your recommended software version based on your computer/hardware configuration for the best possible compatibility throughout your system.

Avid (Digidesign) Support

All Pro Tools systems come fully installed and tested before shipping, with free over-the-phone support provided by our own fully trained Digidesign technical support staff, in addition to any support offered by Digidesign themselves.
