Klotz MC5000 High End Studio Grade Microphone Cable

The Klotz MC5000 is high-end microphone cable that transmits signals over long distances with minimum loss and low attenuation, thanks to a range of characteristics including its cross-section of 0.50 mm². Designed with studio use in mind, the cable is packed with every possible feature to eliminate interference. The high longitudinal conversion loss (LCL) necessary for microphone cables is achieved by incorporating a range of solutions such as cores with ultra-low production tolerances, moulded PVC inner jacket around the cores to maintain their ex-factory high-precision stranding, and a stabilizing element that significantly improves pressure resistance. A double counter-rotating spiral shield provides 100% cover for the inner jacket and reliably screens the cable from electromagnetic interference.

Features

  • Ideal for long microphone cable runs
  • Designed to give best possible results in the studio
  • 1 x 2 x 0.50 mm² (AWG 20)
  • inner jacket for stabilising pair twisting
  • very low capacitance 55 pF/m (17 pF/ft)
  • double, counter rotating bare copper spiral shield
  • Popular Choice for High End Hi-Fi Cables
