Microtech Gefell M92.1S studio tube cardioid condenser microphone with legendary PVC capsule M7

Microtech Gefell M 92.1 S large diaphragm cardioid tube studio microphone features our legendary PVC capsule M 7 which is renowned for its sound quality. This pressure gradient transducer uses two large diameter gold-plated plastic diaphragms. The M 92.1 S has a remarkable signal-to-noise ratio and high sensitivity. It has the typical fullbodied sound of tube microphones that are preferred by vocalists and soloists.

The vacuum tube preamplifier is a well-established design equipped with a pentode working as high μ triode selected for its sonic characteristics.

The N 920.1 power supply provides the operating voltages for the vacuum tube-condenser microphone. It can be powered from a.c. mains with the primary voltage of 115 or 230 volts 50 or 60 Hz.

It is recommended to set the heater voltage of the power supply to 5,8 volts by your service work-shop for cable lengths longer than 50 meters.

The N 920.1 is equipped with the on/off- switch, the 7-pin Tuchel connector which powers the microphone and a 3-pin XLR connector for audio output and the a.c. mains connector with integrated voltage selector switch.

The complete system includes the M 92.1 S Microphone packed in a wooden case, N 920.1 power supply, C 92.1 microphone cable and an elastic suspension.

The microphone is available in satin nickel and dark bronze.
