Neumann TLM 67
The Neumann TLM 67 is an outstanding multi purpose microphone that captures strings, vocals and environments with outstanding clarity and tone. Unlike other Neumann microphone the TLM 67 come in a perl gray finish to give it a 1960s retro appearance. This unique finish also features a bronze coloured commemorative batch depicting the companies founder Georg Neumann. The TLM 67 features a SMD-board that's double sided and contains considerably more components than any of its predecessors.
This microphone also uses a polystyrene capacitor unchanged for over 50 years that's also been used in the U 67, U 87A and SM 69fet. the frequency of this microphone is almost entirely linear in the core area of 40 Hz to 12,000 Hz then decreases gradually externally to this range. this is designed this way to add a warth to your recordings and avoid the digital coldness caused by the extended high end we can capture using today's digital technology.
This listing is for the microphone only, the shockmount is not included.
