The Pulse Techniques EQP-500X is a 500 series adaptation of the classic EQP-1A, combining the best design features of the EQP-1A3-SS and the EQP-1S3-SS. The EQP500X features an op-amp based on the API 2520, providing cleaner and more transparent tone than the original valve circuitry, but without sacrificing the depth and musicality that Pultec EQs are known for.
