The Purple Audio Pants is a 500-Series mic preamp capable of delivering a massive 78dB of clean gain and features a unique dual-bobbin input transformer from Cinemag.

The front panel features input gain, 48v phantom power, phase reverse and output level. There is also a DI input with an impedance toggle switch which allows you to get the best tone for your instrument.

Right in the middle of the module is a button labelled 'High'. When this is engaged the feedback network is changed the Pants become capable of providing up to 78dB of gain, perfect for using with low output microphones such as ribbon mics.
