Royer R-10 MP

The Royer R-10 is a passive, monophonic ribbon microphone perfect for demanding studio and live applications. This matched pair is compact with a variety of mounting options so it can be discreetly placed how you want them. The R-10's linear frequency response provides a very well-balanced image of the sound field, but at the same time it is designed for sound pressure levels up to 160 dB @ 1 kHz.

The R-10 features innovative features developed by Royer Labs such as a multi-layer windscreen and a ribbon transducer with integrated elastic suspension. The multi-layer windscreen provides more effective damping of wind noise and plosive sounds and also reduces the proximity effect when directing guitar boxes and acoustic instruments. The Ribbon Transducer on the R-10 has an integrated elastic suspension that decouples the ribbon element from shocks and vibrations, increasing the life of the ribbon.
