Using the Lyre system the Rycote Softie Duo Lyre Mount w/Pistol Grip Handle provides complete isolation from handling and cable borne noises.  The Lyre shock-mount system is elastic free meaning that it is not prone to wear and tear and will never sag. The pistol grip has a 3/8" thread meaning that the lyre mount can also be mounted to a boom pole.
