The SE X1R is sE Electronics new ribbon microphone which is suited for a variety of applications including : guitar cabs, overhead drums, brass, woodwind, strings, commercial broadcast and voice-over.

Sharing the same design as the large diaphragm condenser variation of the X1 it features a sturdy metal chassis finished in matte black paint which acoustically dampens the inside of the microphone to eliminate internal resonances. The X1R also features a hand made and hand tuned capsule at a fraction of the cost of its boutique made counter parts.

The SE Electronics X1R is the perfect first ribbon microphone at a very affordable price.
