The individual Sontronics Hypercardioid Capsule add extra flexibility to the already versatile Sontronics STC-1 pencil cardioid condenser mic and STC-1S stereo pair of pencil condensers. These interchangeable hypercardioid capsules can be swapped with the existing cardioid head.

If you have critical recording applications that dictate the need for a specific pickup response, then these capsules will do the job without complication. Simply unscrew the STC-1's standard cardioid capsule and screw on the new one.
