The TPI Type. Studio Director S is a Reference Monitor Switching controller designed for surround sound speaker configurations including Dolby Atmos. The Type. Studio Director S by TPI IO configuration offers DANTE input with 16 balanced output channels with industry leading sound quality, reliability and configuration.

The Type. Studio Director S is quick and easy to programme, offering a 16X16 matrix with a fully featured toolbox including: 16 band parametric EQ, 48dB/ Oct high and low pass filters, up to 1.3 seconds of delay as well as TPIs high performance two-stage PXL limiters. The 4GPIO connections allow users can configure actions such as fire alarm mutes and also store up to 30 presets.

With industry leading sound quality and reliability, coupled with class leading latency performance, the Type. Studio Director S offers a myriad of uses such as Atmos DSP, calibration and control, monitor switching, theatre calibration and equalisation, audio matrixing and Dante digital to analogue conversion. The Type. Studio Director S is at home in Atmos Theatres, Recording Studios, Dubbing Suites, Mixdown Rooms, and critical listening environments.
