The Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt Quad Core uses four SHARC DSP processors which combined the increased bandwidth of Thunderbolt technology delivers similar performance as PCIe cards.

With this unit you have full access to all of Universal Audio's award-winning plug-in library featuring exclusives such as Studer, Lexicon, Neve and more. The latest addition of the Satellite Thunderbolt Quad Core brings lower plug-in latency versus Firewire and is the ideal DSP expander for an Apollo audio interface.
