The Neumann TLM107 Studio set, is the perfect set for anyone who is serious about top quality audio recordings. With five selectable polar patterns you can optimise any the performance of the mic in any situation. A near flat frequency response gives a balanced sound, and with a slight boost in the higher frequencies above 8k, the mic adds presence and clarity to the vocals.
The microphone comes with a single navigation switch on the back which allows you to unlock all of the microphones awesome potential. LED lights below the switch indicated which polar pattern has been selected and LED lights to the left and the right indicate the Pad and Low cut that's in use. The 40Hz low cut filter that can be applied is great for reducing interference noise below the fundamental tones, or alternatively the 100Hz cut is great for speech or vocals. The Pad switches allow you to increase the maximum SPL from 141dB to 153dB which gives great reliability when recording the loudest sources.
