DPA d:dicate™ 4041-SP Omni Large Diaphragm Mic, P48

The DPA d:dicate 4041-SP is a phantom powered, omni-directional large diaphragm condenser mic; part of DPA’s flagship Reference recording mic line.

With a 1” sensitive omni capsule that’s exceptionally quiet, the mic has a dynamic range of 126dB, a very low noise floor of 8dB and peak SPL handling of 134dB. The mics frequency response is in line with the legendary Type 4040 hybrid mic, offering transparent signal and clean neutral response adding a slight 4-6dB boost at 8kHz for vocal clarity.

Based around a modular system, the 4041’s MMC4041 preamp and body can be swapped out for the higher sensitivity, 130v solid state version (optional HMA5000 DPA mic amp required).

DPA 4041-SP Features

  • handles high sound pressure levels with no distortion
  • natural and transparent sound
