The Trident Audio 80B-500EQ is a redesign in the compact 500 series of the Trident 80 Series console EQ that defined the "British EQ" signature sound.

The Trident Audio TR80B-500EQ is a single slot four-band EQ with frequency-switchable high and low-pass shelving bands combined with sweeping Low and High-midrange bands and a  fixed 12dB/octave, 50Hz high-pass filter. Each band features a -/+ 15dB gain.

The Trident Audio 80B-500EQ is a versatile and musical equaliser just like its older Trident 80 Series counterpart thanks to it's large overlap between frequency bands. The 80B-500EQ is designed in the US and built in the UK where the original consoles were designed and built.
