The Cranborne Audio 500 R8 is a complete analogue/digital hybrid recording studio solution in a single, 4U rack. The 500 R8 features 8 slots for your favourite 500 series modules, a USB audio interface, monitor controller, zero latency artist mixer and discrete summing mixer.

As well as an IO extension via ADAT for you existing audio interface, the R8 can connect directly to your mac/PC via USB 2.0, providing you with a 28-in/30-out interface. Each channel features an XLR input, XLR line output and TRS insert (pre ADC) meaning that whether you are recording, mixing or using your 500 series modules as hardware inserts, the R8's IO capabilities have got you covered.

The R8 has comprehensive monitoring options, with 2 high-power headphone outputs, zero latency artist mixer with pan/level controls per channel and DAW return blend and also A/B speaker switching with mono check, dim, mute and dedicated talkback input with phantom power.
