Vibe's brief was never about volume. A coach over backing music at seven in the morning, a bar lifting the room at nine at night: eight spaces wanting different levels at once, run by the club's own staff. So the design started with the building — glass walls, a hard floor, and floodlight masts already in the right place to hang from.
The Cyclone 4 was specified around four things:
Even coverage, no hot spot at the net, and nothing spilling into the next court's glass. That is how the Cyclone 4 ended up over the courts — and the Cyclone 55.1 across the lounge tables.
The masts and cage were the right place — high enough to clear players and glass, aimed down the court rather than across it. They just weren't built to carry a loudspeaker. So we had brackets made: custom, Void-branded, engineered for this building. You can't order those from a list. A list assumes a wall.
Not in any catalogue:
Supplying a loudspeaker is the easy half. This is where it becomes installation.
A class, a league match and a lunch service run at once, and none of them should have to negotiate. Eight zones — office, courts, courtside, reception, lounge, reformer studio, gym, changing rooms — routed from one NST Audio VMX88 processor that nobody has to touch.
Control sits where people already are:
The court controls are capped at the amplifier: down, never up. A player can quieten their own court and can't reach anyone else's. Inca 500 drives the courts and gym, Bias Q1.5+ the lounge and bulkhead.
Nobody subcontracted this. The team that priced the job was the team on site — rack, amplifiers, brackets, termination, panels and the Dante link — around a club that stayed open throughout.
The full service, end to end:
At handover we walked the staff through their own building: which control does what, how to change a court level, how to hand the lounge to the bar. Nobody has to ring us to turn it up.
Glass, turf and a hard floor make a padel hall an unusually difficult room, and players still need to hear each other over the music. It's the same problem we solve in a studio, in a building that has to run itself. We survey, specify, supply, install and commission — one team, one contact, first visit to handover.
