The SSL 12 is a 12 x 8 USB audio interface that features 4 mic/line inputs with SSLs Legacy 4K switches, 2 HI-Z instrument inputs, 2 headphone outputs, 32-bit/192kHz AD/DA conversion, ADAT-in, built-in talk back microphone and more.
The SSL 12 features the Legacy 4K mode, inspired by the classic SSL consoles, giving you the ability to add extra analogue character and sparkle to your source when needed. Based on the design of the SSL 400 Console, also know as the 4K, the 'Legacy 4K' switch adds a forward, yet musical high-frequency EQ boost. The switch also adds a controlled amount of finely-tuned, sweet sounding harmonic into the signal path, helping to add the sonic character and 'mojo' that 4000 console was known and loved for.
