DUY DaD Valve recreates the warm sound of valve circuitry inside the DAW, and was the first digital valve simulator for workstations. Its physical-modelling engine covers triode, tetrode and pentode valves with independent control over spectral and dynamic response, and it includes responses tuned for 38 instrument families.

Supplied as a digital download. After purchase your activation code is sent by email; register it in a DUY account at duy.com to access the installers. Authorisation is via PACE/iLok to either an iLok 2 or iLok 3 USB key or iLok Cloud, so no hardware dongle is needed if you choose iLok Cloud; computer-based iLok licences are not supported. Formats: AAX DSP and AAX Native (Pro Tools HDX compatible), AU, VST and VST3. Requires macOS 12 Monterey or later (macOS Tahoe compatible), 64-bit only, running natively on Apple silicon and Intel Macs; Pro Tools 12 or later for AAX. Windows is not currently supported.
