The Roger Mayer Voodoo-Vibe 2024 puts the circuit of the famous Voodoo-Vibe+ into a compact, pedalboard-friendly enclosure. It is Roger Mayer's latest take on the Uni-Vibe sound heard on Jimi Hendrix and Robin Trower records, using the same four hand-selected light cells and the modifications Roger developed for Jimi, with a simpler four-knob layout.
A new Mix control blends chorus and vibrato, so you can sit anywhere between a swirling chorus and full pitch-wobble vibrato. Speed and Intensity are voiced to give usable tones straight away, and the EQ control sets the character of the sweep. The audio path is fully analogue Class A discrete, which keeps your guitar's tone and dynamics intact without the graininess of digital modulation.
