The Bose DesignMax DM2C Rough-In Kit is used to install the DM2C-LP Loudspeaker into ceilings. This product is a pack of 6.
Installation
Use the rough-in pan to install the loudspeaker in any unfinished hard-deck ceiling (such as drywall, gypsum, or plaster) before the ceiling is constructed.
- Attach rough-in pan to the ceiling furring or wood studs. The rough-in pan includes multiple pre-drilled holes to accommodate different stud spacing, loudspeaker orientations, and loudspeaker placements.
- Finish the ceiling.
- Cut a hole in the finished ceiling, using the rough-in pan as a guide.
- Install the loudspeaker in the rough-in pan by following the Mounting the Loudspeaker instructions in the installation guide for your in-ceiling loudspeaker (available at PRO.BOSE.COM).
