Matt's passion for audio engineering comes from a deep appreciation of the equipment that helped shape recorded music. After years spent working with vintage audio gear, studying classic circuits and restoring professional equipment, Matt saw an opportunity to build products that honoured these designs while embracing modern reliability and manufacturing standards.

Today, they design, assemble and test every BAT product in the United Kingdom. They combine proven vintage circuit topologies with meticulous modern manufacturing techniques to create equipment that recording engineers can depend on for years to come.
