DPA CORE 4080 Cardioid Mic, Normal SPL, MicroDot (Black)

The DPA 4080 is a miniature cardioid condenser microphone. The 4080 is ideal for lavalier purposes where higher directionality is needed over standard omni-directional pick up mics.

Offering great audio quality in a small compact package, the mic is perfect for interview and ENG settings where rejection of background noise and focus on speech is needed. The capsule is equalised with a 4dB boost to accent vocal content for increased intelligibility.

DPA 4080 is delivered with a pre-mounted black pop filter in a holder with an integrated shock mount, fixed on a clip. An additional white pop filter is enclosed. Because of the flexible and practical mounting solution, the microphone can easily be turned in all directions and fits both left and right buttoned shirts.

This mic is also available with 3-pin Lemo, TA4F Mini-XLR, or Mini-Jack connection.
