Waves Abbey Road Collection - Tape, Console, Reverb and Mastering Plugins from Abbey Road Studios
Waves Abbey Road Collection - Tape, Console, Reverb and Mastering Plugins from Abbey Road Studios
The Waves Abbey Road Collection recreates the signal path of Abbey Road Studios, the London studio behind records by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, Radiohead, Oasis, Adele and Amy Winehouse, and film scores from Star Wars to The Lord of the Rings. Developed with Abbey Road's own engineers, it models the tape machines, consoles, compressors, EQs, reverbs, microphones and vinyl gear that shaped the studio's sound.
The J37 Tape models the four-track machine used on Sgt. Pepper's, and the REDD and EMI TG12345 consoles cover the valve desks of the 1960s and the solid-state console of the 1970s. The Chambers and Reverb Plates bring the studio's famous echo rooms and EMT plates, Reel ADT recreates the tape double-tracking effect invented for John Lennon, and the TG Mastering Chain and Vinyl plugins cover the mastering and cutting rooms. The RS124 compressor, RS56 passive EQ, Saturator and King's Microphones complete the set.
