Waves API 560 - Graphic EQ Plugin

Waves API 560 brings the classic 1967 API graphic equaliser to your DAW, designed in close collaboration with, and verified by, API. Its proportional Q filter topology is known for a smooth, forgiving sound and outstanding headroom.

For overheads, pianos, guitars and other complex sources that need clear, well-defined tone shaping, the 560 makes EQ fast and easy. Its traditional graphic layout is ideal for broad changes that still sound natural and musical.

  • A true 1967 classic with outstanding headroom
  • Designed in close collaboration with, and verified by, API
  • Proportional Q narrows the filter at extremes for a forgiving sound
  • 10 bands from 31 Hz to 16 kHz, spaced an octave apart
  • Analogue modelling switch for subtle harmonic distortion and hiss
  • Output section with phase switch and ±18 dB level control

Supplied as a digital download with a perpetual licence. After purchase you receive a Waves serial number to register to your Waves account; the plugins are then installed and activated with the free Waves Central application, either to your computer or to an exFAT-formatted USB flash drive, one device at a time. A Waves account and an internet connection are needed to activate; no hardware dongle is required. Formats: AAX Native, AudioSuite, AU and VST3 (64-bit) on macOS Sonoma 14 or later, and AAX Native, AudioSuite and VST3 (64-bit) on Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11.
