Its mid-forward frequency response, tamed proximity effect, and quick transient response make it versatile across various sources. Use with any preamp, on any source

The N28 operates on standard 48V Phantom Power. This extra gain means you can choose a preamp based on sound, not gain or input impedance. From your desktop USB Interface all the way to boutique preamps, the N28’s active circuitry ensures you will get a good signal from even the quietest sources. With an all-new impedance buffer amp topology and 1:89 Lehle transformer, the N28 does an excellent job at preventing noise interference on longer cable runs or when operating near lighting rigs.
