The API 3124mb+ is a high-quality 4 channel mic preamp with the addition of an audio mixer with a transformer balanced output.

Each channel includes a preamp with up to 65dB of gain, phase reverse, 48v Phantom Power, -20dB pad and a mic/line selector. In addition to the these there are level, pan and aux trim pots that feed to the mixer section.

Analogue inputs and outputs are on balanced XLR with a front panel Hi-Z jack input for DI duties. A balanced TRS insert point is available on the rear on each channel.

The mixer includes a left and right volume control. A stereo AUX return is provided to return effects or cascade additional mixers for more inputs. The unique stereo aux return control acts to balance the left/right signal, yet staying stereo. It can also be used as a mono return. All mixer connections are on balanced TRS.
