iZotope VocalSynth 2 is a creative vocal engine that turns a sung or spoken performance into synth textures, harmonised layers and vocoded effects, all inside one plug-in.

  • Vocoder, Compuvox, Polyvox and Talkbox engines plus the Biovox vocal model
  • Seven stompbox style effects on board, including distortion, chorus and delay
  • Blend the modules in parallel to build new sounds from a single vocal
  • Sidechain input so an instrument can drive the vocoder or talkbox
  • Inter-plugin communication with Neutron, Ozone and Nectar
  • AAX, AU and VST3 for 64-bit plug-in hosts

Supplied as a digital download with a perpetual licence. After purchase you receive an iZotope serial number to register to your iZotope account; the software is then installed and authorised with the free iZotope Product Portal. No hardware dongle is required. Formats: AAX, AU and VST3 (64-bit only); VST2 is no longer supported. macOS Sonoma 14.8, Sequoia 15.8 or Tahoe 26.x on Intel or Apple silicon Macs, and Windows 10 (22H2) or Windows 11 (24H2) on 64-bit Intel or AMD PCs. An internet connection is needed to authorise and to download the installer; work is then offline.
