Lewitt LCT 940

The Lewitt LCT 940 is a large-diaphragm FET condenser mic with a top-notch tube built into a sleek and beautiful housing. The LCT940 allows you to choose between the two main settings of "TUBE" and "FET", or find your sweet spot in between, making it mixable at any possible ratio. The externally polarized 1" dual-diaphragm capsule captures every nuance of your performance due to its 3-micron-thin, gold-layered, low-mass diaphragms. This microphone is perfect for vocals and acoustic instruments, it will provide a warm, rich and clear sound so you don't have to spend the time achieving this in post.

The LCT 940 unifies the specific characteristics of a premium large-diaphragm FET condenser microphone and a top-notch tube microphone. "Tube" delivers warmth and musical harmonics, while "FET" stands for the clear and nuanced sound for which LEWITT condenser microphones are renowned for. Use the Tube // FET blend control - find your ideal mix. The LCT 940 features a total of nine different polar patterns – five "standard" polar patterns omnidirectional, cardioid, figure-8, wide- and supercardioid and four additional intermediate patterns.

The illuminated display of the remote control unit guarantees easy handling in dark environments. Automatic Attenuation, Clipping History, four pre-attenuation and low-cut filter settings round off the feature list of this outstanding microphone. The LCT 940 opens up a new dimension of sound reproduction and its unrivaled set of qualities makes this microphone a must-have for recording professionals who strive for nothing less than perfection.
