The REV6000 Essentials is a reduced version of the VSR REV6000, Relab's recreation of a Danish hardware reverb that became a fixture in film and television scoring. It keeps the character of the full plug-in and the early reflection behaviour, with a simpler control set.
Six preset algorithms cover Drum Space, Jazz Space, Vocal Plate, Large Plate, Shimmer Hall and Eternal Hall, with decay, pre-delay, size and mix as the main parameters. Early reflection, reverb and output levels are metered separately alongside the input, so the balance between direct sound, early reflections and tail can be judged precisely. It suits tight room sounds as readily as large, warm halls.

Supplied as a digital download with a perpetual licence. After purchase the licence is deposited in your iLok account; authorisation can be to a local computer or to an iLok USB key (v2 or later). An iLok account, an internet connection and the current PACE drivers are needed to activate; no hardware dongle is required. Formats: AAX, AU and VST3 (64-bit) on macOS 10.15 or later, and AAX and VST3 (64-bit) on Windows 10 or later.
