Relab Sonsig ACE - 12-in-1 Dimensional Expander Plugin

The Sonsig ACE is a dimensional expander — a modulation processor for adding width and depth without the comb filtering and phase problems of a conventional chorus. It is a 12-in-1 design in Relab’s own description, covering twelve dimensional effects from one multi-voice, dual-engine architecture, so it can be used for subtle thickening or for deep, swirling movement.

A Voices control sets the number of voices — two, three, four or six — with serial or parallel operation, and six hand-tuned LFO shapes drive the modulation. The central Colour control sets the character — Natural, Thick, Fat, Dark, Lo-Fi, Edgy, Soft and HD — while Enrich adds a delay-line spread that widens the image without altering the source. A low cut keeps bass out of the modulation, and blend and width run from dry to wet and from mono to stereo. The design is mono-compatible, so the effect survives a mono fold-down.

  • Twelve effect types in one dimensional expander
  • Two to six voices with serial or parallel operation
  • Six hand-tuned LFO shapes
  • Eight colour modes from Natural to HD
  • Enrich width control with mono compatibility
  • Blend and mono-to-stereo width controls
