The Roger Mayer RM 58 Classic is a hand-built, Class A stereo limiter designed to deliver precise, musical dynamics control while preserving the character and detail of the source. Combining a proprietary FET gain-reduction circuit with transformer-balanced connectivity, it offers a distinctive analogue approach to tracking, mixing and mastering.

The RM 58 Classic features two dynamically matched channels, with flexible attack and release controls and adjustable threshold and output levels. Its carefully designed gain-reduction circuit responds to both positive and negative waveform peaks, allowing dynamics to be controlled naturally while maintaining stereo integrity and a coherent centre image.

With its combination of fast, precise peak control and musical analogue character, the RM 58 Classic is equally at home controlling individual sources during recording or adding definition and cohesion to a stereo bus. Channel linking and bypass controls provide additional flexibility, while the large illuminated VU meter allows gain reduction, input or output levels to be monitored at a glance.

Housed in a robust stainless-steel chassis and fitted with gold-plated XLR connections, the RM 58 Classic is built for demanding professional studio environments.
