Royer SF-24 - Active Stereo Ribbon Microphone (Used Ex-Hire)
The Royer SF-24 is an active stereo ribbon microphone with two ribbons stacked vertically in a Blumlein configuration at 90 degrees to one another.
The SF-24 is a phantom-powered version of the SF-12 and the active circuitry means that is has a higher output and is as sensitive as standard condenser microphones. Standard ribbon microphones require preamps with large amounts of gain, but because the SF-24 has a higher output, it will work effectively with most preamps.
This microphone is ex-rental stock and has some cosmetic signs of use. It works perfectly and comes with a 90-day warranty.
