VSL Special Edition Vol. 5 Dimension Strings

VSL Special Edition Vol. 5 Dimension Strings

VSL Special Edition Vol. 5 Dimension Strings brings VSL's Dimension Strings to the Studio Special Edition series. Every player was recorded individually, so you can shape timing, tuning and vibrato player by player for a properly human ensemble sound.

Key features

• 32 players: 8 first violins, 8 second violins, 6 violas, 6 cellos and 4 double basses
• Normal and con sordino (muted) articulations
• Each player is available separately in the mixer
• Humanize presets and fader for natural timing and pitch variation
• Also includes muted trumpet and trombone ensembles, contrabass trombone, timpani, cymbals and gongs, and drums
• Mixer presets for Synchron Stage placement, or a dry signal for your own reverb

Delivery and licence: VSL Special Edition Vol. 5 Dimension Strings is supplied as a download, so there is nothing to ship. After purchase you receive a licence code by email; redeem it in your MyVSL account at vsl.co.at, then download and install the library with the free Vienna Assistant. Licences are activated through an iLok account, either on a physical iLok 2 or iLok 3 USB key or in an iLok Cloud session (iLok Cloud needs a constant internet connection, but no USB key). The library plays in the included Vienna Synchron Player, which works as an AU, VST, VST3 or AAX Native plug-in in a compatible host. Minimum system: Windows 10 (64-bit, latest update) with an Intel Core i5 or AMD Athlon 64 X2, or macOS 12 Monterey (latest update) or later with an Intel Core i5; 8 GB RAM; and an SSD (M.2, SATA 6 or USB 3/3.1 with UASP) with at least 28 GB free. The download is 28 GB and contains 186,358 samples.
