VSL Studio FX Piano (Standard Library) goes well beyond the classic prepared piano. VSL's Yamaha CFX was fitted with screws, chains and other objects and played with an EBow, mallets and scrapes, giving you percussive hits, drones, plucks and pads for film, game and ambient work.

Delivery and licence: VSL Studio FX Piano (Standard Library) is supplied as a download, so there is nothing to ship. After purchase you receive a licence code by email; redeem it in your MyVSL account at vsl.co.at, then download and install the library with the free Vienna Assistant. Licences are activated through an iLok account, either on a physical iLok 2 or iLok 3 USB key or in an iLok Cloud session (iLok Cloud needs a constant internet connection, but no USB key). The library plays in the included Vienna Synchron Player (not the Synchron Piano Player), which works as an AU, VST, VST3 or AAX Native plug-in in a compatible host. Minimum system: Windows 10 (64-bit, latest update) with an Intel Core i7 or AMD Athlon 64 X2, or macOS 12 Monterey (latest update) or later with an Intel Core i7; 16 GB RAM; and an SSD (M.2, SATA 6 or USB 3/3.1 with UASP) with at least 92 GB free. The Standard Library download is 92 GB and contains 59,292 samples.
