VSL Synchron Duality Strings (Standard Library) records two string sections playing at the same moment in two acoustically separated rooms: a large ensemble in the 540 m² Stage A and a more compact group in the less reverberant Stage B at Synchron Stage Vienna. Use either on its own, or blend them for a sound that is both lush and focused.

Delivery and licence: VSL Synchron Duality Strings (Standard Library) is supplied as a download, so there is nothing to ship. After purchase you receive a licence code by email; redeem it in your MyVSL account at vsl.co.at, then download and install the library with the free Vienna Assistant. Licences are activated through an iLok account, either on a physical iLok 2 or iLok 3 USB key or in an iLok Cloud session (iLok Cloud needs a constant internet connection, but no USB key). The library plays in the included Vienna Synchron Player, which works as an AU, VST, VST3 or AAX Native plug-in in a compatible host. Minimum system: Windows 10 (64-bit, latest update) with an Intel Core i7 or AMD Athlon 64 X2, or macOS 12 Monterey (latest update) or later with an Intel Core i7; 16 GB RAM; and an SSD (M.2, SATA 6 or USB 3/3.1 with UASP) with at least 57 GB free. The Standard Library download is 57 GB and contains 328,926 samples.
