Waves dbx 160 - Compressor Limiter Plugin

Waves dbx 160 - Compressor Limiter Plugin

Waves dbx 160 recreates the VCA compressor whose savagely fast attack and fresh transparency made it a clean break from earlier designs. Used gently for fullness or slammed for pumping, the dbx 160 became the sound of drum and bass compression.

Designed in close collaboration with dbx, the plugin models the original hardware's sound with great accuracy and adds new features for modern studios.

• The power and punch of classic 1970s drum compression
• Fat, thick textures for drums, bass, synths and acoustic guitar
• Adds aggression from drum buses to rap vocals
• Mix control for quick parallel compression
• Sidechain high-pass filter for a full low end
• Linked stereo, dual mono or mid-side operation
