Waves MetaFilter - Creative Modulated Filter Plugin

Waves MetaFilter turns filtering into a creativity machine, with six modes, envelope following, LFO and sequencer control, drive and bit-crushing, delay, sidechain and MIDI learn. It makes synths, drums, guitars, bass and samples breathe, move and excite.

Add subtle animation, or go for sequenced resonance and wild LFO textures. Dirty the sound or keep it clean: from DJ work to sound design, MetaFilter does it all.

  • HP, LP, BP, notch and comb filters plus VCA
  • Envelope follower from input or external sidechain
  • LFO with five waveforms, including random
  • 1 to 16-step sequencer with swing and sync
  • Delay, saturation and bit-crushing
  • Over 90 presets

Supplied as a digital download with a perpetual licence. After purchase you receive a Waves serial number to register to your Waves account; the plugins are then installed and activated with the free Waves Central application, either to your computer or to an exFAT-formatted USB flash drive, one device at a time. A Waves account and an internet connection are needed to activate; no hardware dongle is required. Formats: AAX Native, AudioSuite, AU and VST3 (64-bit) on macOS Sonoma 14 or later, and AAX Native, AudioSuite and VST3 (64-bit) on Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11.
