Waves SSL 4000 Collection - SSL Console Channel, EQ and Bus Compressor Plugins
Waves SSL 4000 Collection - SSL Console Channel, EQ and Bus Compressor Plugins
The Waves SSL 4000 Collection brings the sound of the Solid State Logic 4000 E- and G-series consoles into the DAW. Developed under licence from SSL, it models the desks' channel dynamics, equalisers and the famous centre-section bus compressor that shaped decades of rock, pop and hip-hop records.
There are five processors. The SSL E-Channel and the newer SSL EV2 Channel model the E-series strip, with the EV2 adding both 'black' and 'brown' knob EQ options and mic preamp saturation. The SSL G-Channel provides the later G-series strip with its adaptive-Q EQ, the SSL G-Equalizer models the rack-mounted 292 'pink knob' EQ, and the SSL G-Master Buss Compressor supplies the VCA bus compressor used to glue mixes together. Over 600 presets from leading mix engineers are included.
